CD-49 - The Seven Sins of Hand Soldering
This new interactive training CD-ROM from IPC is
especially designed for experienced hand soldering
operators who've developed nasty habits, such as: using
excess pressure, improper solder heat bridge, wrong tip
size, excessive temperature, improper use of flux,
transfer soldering and unnecessary rework or repair.
CD-49 explores each of these soldering "sins" in a
tongue-in-cheek format - explaining how they create
undesirable results - while clearly presenting the
proper techniques so the habit can be eliminated.
Adapted from the new VT-49 video, this self-paced
training program features full motion MPEG video, with
Pretesting - to determine student knowledge before each
Section Review and Final Evaluation. An Administrative
Feature records scores and completion records, giving
you immediate, accurate documentation of employee
learning. Students can train at their own pace -
according to their own schedule - leaving and returning
exactly where they left off. Its also easy to install
and monitor on your PC.
Designed to prevent costly errors and unnecessary
rework, the interactive Seven Sins of Hand Soldering is
the cure for improper soldering techniques - that not
only new hires - but even the most experienced
technicians can succumb to.
