Surface Mount Solder Joint Evaluation Desk Reference Manual

To help your workforce understand and apply the surface mount acceptance criteria
from the IPC-A-610B and the J-STD-001B, IPC has produced a new Desk Reference Manual.
 This manual contains 3-D color graphics for chip component; gull wing and J-lead
solder joints.  Each drawing clearly shows the minimum acceptable condition for each
type of component misalignment and the minimum solder joint sizes.  All three classes
of product are color coded to make it convenient for use as a reference guide. This
manual also contains high quality color photographs of common solder conditions. The
acceptance criteria associated with each image are referenced to the specific
paragraph in the 610/001 documents-in case there is ever a question.  40 pages.
