Hello Everyone,

Our IPC-6012 (D-33a) and IPC-A-600 (7-31a) task groups will meet jointly at IPC APEX-Expo 2009 in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center on the following dates:


Sunday, March 29th 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, South Pacific D Room

Wednesday, April 1st 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm, Mariner B Room


Our goal is to prepare Revision C to IPC-6012 and Revision H to IPC-A-600 for Final Draft circulation in April/May 2009.  To that end, our agenda for both days will include the following:

1) Review rewrite of 1.3.3 in IPC-6012C by Reed, Whittaker and Mahanna for establishing an expected level of soldering survivability (lead-free) - Sunday AM

2) Review IPC-6012C 3.2.6 and 3.2.7 reorganization based on undercoatings and platings by Dupriest, Green, White, Rios and Mahanna - Sunday AM

3) Review proposed wording to 3.6.2.9 and Table 4-3 of IPC-6012C for new A/B-R coupon design and the usage of legacy "A" and "B" coupons  - Sunday AM

4) Review new imagery proposed for IPC-A-600H - Sunday PM

5) Review Whittaker comments to working draft of IPC-6012C - Wednesday PM

6) Discuss items remaining prior to Final Draft circulation of documents in April/May 2009 - Wednesday PM
