Pete,
Dr. Engelmaier is right on target.  In the old Lockheed Missiles & Space
Co., we started with plated-through hole PWBs in 1964 and soon carbon
treatment became almost a monthly ritual.

Hi Pete,
I would drop any PCB fab house that does not carbon treat like a hot
potato.
