This is a follow-up e-mail to one that I had sent out last week with dates and times for the IPC D-33a (IPC-6012) and IPC 7-31a (IPC-A-600) joint task group meetings taking place at APEX-Expo 2008 in Las Vegas, NV.

The D-33a task group website has been updated to include the minutes from the February 2008 Winter Interim Meetings and an updated IPC-6012 Revision C Working Draft.  The task group web page is located at: http://www.ipc.org/CommitteeDetail.aspx?Committee=D-33A

Also, listed here are the agenda items for the 03/30 and 04/02 meetings:

1) Review of D-33e task group effort on resolution target IPC-OI-1951.  Includes questionnaire on what magnification aids are in use today to support IPC performance specifications - Chris Mahanna, Robisan Laboratory.

2) Status of the 1-10c task group effort to create an A/B-R coupon design to replace the current A/B and R test coupons in IPC-2221 and IPC-6010 specifications - Chris Mahanna, Robisan Laboratory.

3) Review new project to develop and expand on cap plating thickness and via fill requirements begun at IPC February 2008 Interim Meetings for IPC-6012C - Wendi Boger, DDi.

4) Continue work on IPC-6012C Goals file presented at IPC Midwest 2007 meeting, starting with the following:

                Item 13) Breakout Criteria for Vias/Component PTHs
                Item 10) Positive Etchback Measurements
                Item 7) Dielectric Thickness in 3.6.2.15 of IPC-6012C

5) Begin development of lead-free application requirements based on modified IPC-6012B Table 4-3
