I respectfully disagree with your assessment, Steve. It is always better to
light a candle than to curse the darkness (even if it does release a little
bit  of CO2... ;-)

Open dialog is great stuff. I think we all benefit  from the discourse and
being open to other thoughts and points of view. In  debate, one must understand
as fully as possible both sides of the arguement to  be properly prepared to
enter the fray. If we stop asking questions, we cease to  learn.
