I don't know anything about India, Dave, (except on the ozone depletion
front). I know a little about the UK which is full of hot air (in the
right direction, though) and not enough action. I know a lot about
Cyprus where there is a tiny amount of hot air and no action. My website
at www.cypenv.org gives the Cyprus situation where oil-generated
electricity and motor fuel consumptions increase by leaps and bounds
but, to be honest, this country does have a few other preoccupations.
