Hi!

We are using the following values:

X = 0.6
Y = 1.1
G = 0.4 for resistor and 0.6 for capacitor
Very important! pitch = 0.95mm

Which are running with out problems in our SMD machines.

Dear IPC; I have a question in reference to a "0402". What is the current
IPC spec. for the footprint. I design my footprint per IPC-782A;

X=.60 Min.(.70nom.) .80mm Max.
Y=.90mm
G=.40 Min.(.50nom.) .60mm Max.

The reason I ask is because vendor's like Vishay, NIC, AVX and Kemet
specify some smaller. Will I be OK with IPC spec's and would you recommend
using the nom. dimension as specified or the max...
