We are seeking a Hardware Sonet Design Engineer for a client located in MA

The candidate should have experience designing Sonet OC-N interfaces.
Experience with Sonet framing, clocking and optical interfaces required.
Knowledge of various Sonet Ring topologies (UPSR, BLSR) as well as Sonet
mapping and virtual tributary specifications desirable.  Ideal candidate
will have demonstrated track record of architecting, designing, debugging
and delivering to market one or more Sonet designs.Candidate should have
proficiency with hardware design and simulation tools and knowledge of
hardware design process, including schematic capture (Viewlogic a plus),
overseeing complex PCB layout, FPGA and board level design (HDL and
synthesis) and simulation, and prototype debug and testing.  Proficiency
with verilog or VHDL a plus
