Bob,

I would agree with Indrek's assessment of the LP Calculator/Wizard.  It definitely helps as the people who developed this software took the time and research necessary to produce manufacturable land patterns based on the new IPC-7351 land pattern standard.  Now included are those which need to be compatible for RoHS compliant parts!

You mean "1005" dimensions? For resistors, inductors or capacitors?
According to IPC-7351 or IPC-SM-782? Most, nominal or least material condition?

You can get an excellent free footprint viewer with many standard libraries from <http://www.pcblibraries.com>. They also sell footprint calculators. I for one find their IPC-7351 LP calculator quite handy.
