Job description:

Physical designer with significant experience using Altium Designer version
6 to provide full-range layout support from schematic through fabrication
for high-density mixed signal PCBs. Duties include managing ECO processing
of existing designs, as well as creation of new board designs. Working
closely with the circuit designer, the physical designer will implement
incremental layout changes and produce a full set of deliverables including
fabrication drawings, Gerber and drill files, as well as annotated
schematics. 

This position requires a thorough knowledge of design practices required to
produce multi-layer PCBs with very fine-pitch design rules including the
ability to:

** effectively place and route fine-pitch SMT leaded and BGA components
** manage split planes and associated power and thermal issues
** apply noise mitigation techniques to low-level analog and high-speed
digital signals
** insure optimal routing through the application of signal integrity
methodology
** create and manage component libraries
** design in manufacturability through an understanding of blind/buried
vias, etc.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of JEDEC
packaging, and IPC and RoHS fabrication and assembly standards.
