Just a reminder, The CID Workshop and exam for the San Diego area is coming
up in 10 days from now... If you are going to attend the full workshop on
Monday thru Wednesday or even just take the exam only on Wed, make sure to
prepare before coming to the event. If you know someone else that is also
taking the exam, get together and study... help each other to achieve the
highest score in the class. (We usually give out a small award for the
highest score at the event...)

Fellow Designers,
There will be a CID workshop next month, AUGUST 23rd through the 25th in
beautiful San Diego, CA. Those of you that are planning to take the CID
Workshop and Exam should contact the Designers Council and make your
reservations and get your materials EARLY!
PLEASE! Study the materials in Advance. You cannot expect to show up and try
to absorb all of the material presented in 2 full days of lecture and hope
to pass the exam. (You must be better to yourself...) The materials will be
shipped to you in advance and give you plenty of time to study... so get
your reservations now and start studying! If you can get together with other
members of your local chapter and study together you will get more out of it
and help each other to prepare for the exam.
Workshop & Exam fees include all study materials and an exam voucher which
will be sent to you, along with hotel information and directions, as soon as
IPC receives your registration form and payment.
PCB Designer Workshop & Exam (C.I.D)
IPC/DC Member: $595
Non-member: $795
Exam Only: $205
The two-day workshop portion of the course will begin Monday Aug 23rd at
8:30 am and conclude at 5:00 pm each day, with pre-registration starting at
8:00 am on the first day. The exam will be administered in the morning on
the final day, Wednesday Aug 25th with a review of the test following lunch
and concluding by 3:00 pm.
Advance registration is strongly advised for all Designer Certification
Training and Testing Workshops. Individuals must register at least three
weeks in advance of the course date in order to receive the materials prior
to the workshop. Cancellations for workshop registrations will not be
refunded once materials have shipped, however, participants may transfer to
another workshop date by contacting IPC.
