Can anybody enlighten me on the minimum and maximum operating temperature of
FR-4?

I am more concerned with the minimum temp as there seems to be plenty of
reference to the maximum.

What I need to know is if it would be safe to specify a -40 deg.C to +80
deg. C operating range for an assembly using FR-4 as the PCB laminate
material (given that all comonents are approved for this temperature range!)

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
