If you have a feature that you know either violates IPC standards or will pose an issue to your CM/fabricator I would suggest at the very least adding a note to your drawing. Better yet, review with your CM/fabricator personally prior to design hand-off. This is amplified if there are any existing communications barriers between yourself and your CM/fabricator (offshore vendor, etc.).
