That's great news Andy!

I'm very glad to see that the IPC membership is included in the discount
package. What a great opportunity for members to get access to great tech
conference presentations and locally in their own area to boot!

Thanks to Pete Waddell and his UP Media Road Show staff and the North Texas
Chapter of the Designers Council for helping to make this possible.

Even if someone was not a member of the IPC DC they could register online
and get their membership for 50.00 and get the discount for 50.00 at the
event, basically like getting their membership in the DC for 'free'... how
cool is that...

Andy,

I recently (last month) joined IPC and I was wondering what the discount
rate for members is. When I signed up, I affiliated myself with the
North Texas chapter but had no idea who were members. However,I'm not so
sure about Dallas being the gravitational center of the south. :))

Hi Barbara,

This is part of the UP Media Roadshow series that Pete Waddell is taking
around the country. The North Texas Chapter has been helping him make a
success of it, and he has given Chapter members a discount for
registration.

You could approach Pete about having it in Houston next time.

Of course, Dallas is the gravitational centre of the Central South, and
a natural location as a result..... :-)

It seems like a real opportunity to have this PCB RoadSeries in the
Central area of the country. Most of the quality conferences seem to be
always on the East or West Coast. Both coasts are expensive to travel to
and pay for accomadations.

Some of us mid-country folks have been looking for just such an
opportunity.

What do you think?
