Depends on how you measure AC amps.

If you are talking about RMS measures (which you probably are) then the
answer is no, you do not treat them differently.
If you are talking about PEAK amps, or even Peak-to-peak amps, then there
is a difference.
But if you are talking about AVERAGE AC amps, then any trace width will do!
