A quick search on the web turned up ANSI Z32.13 (Abbreviations for use on
drawings).
I was unable to find a date and I have never seen a copy of this standard.
Anyone out there know this one?

        I have an old Military Standard Abbreviations For Use On Drawings,

        Specifications, Standards, and Technical Documents, Mil-Std-12D

        15 June 1968.  I use this all the time.

        However, it is probably REALLY outdated, and replaced with some

        standard.

        Can someone point me to the latest, most popular specification which
gives
        the recommended abbreviations for todays items.
