I actually used to have a little tiny thing that the person who sold it to me called
a "silversmiths wet (whet?) stone", which kept my Xacto knive bladess sharp as new
as long as I needed. I would usually only sharpen them a few times thow, since I
couldn't keep the edge of that old number 16 blade straight (flat) enough to cut the
entire width of a large piece of tape without rocking it a little due to a slight
curvature that would alyways show up after after too many of my resharpenings.

Today I have a problem in just being able to find a number 16 blade, which I still
use for a number of things, and none of the other manufacturers of Xacto style
blades seem to be able to make them as sharp or durable as Xacto themselves.
