I can't help but notice that the "working draft" of IPC-2152 is dated
November 2002, and ThermalMan was created in December 2002.
Has this project gone commercial on us now?
There sure was a lot of hype about this a couple of years ago, and still
nothing practical for the common man.
Is the IPC document release being delayed now that it has been turned into
a money-making machine?
(If anyone is interested, the working draft on IPC can be downloaded by
clicking the "DRAFTS" link here:
http://www.ipc.org/committeedetail.asp?Committee=1-10b )
Maybe the "history" IS becoming "sordid"?

Okay, that's two grouchy posts from me in one day... tomorrow I'm turning
over a new leaf!

The history of these charts is pretty funny, maybe sordid is the wrong
word.

What Mike is creating is really a much better
tool than the charts could ever address...
Thanks for the comments.
