I have a form that I created to help me remember whatever the engineer
says.
(my webpage is behind a firewall, if anyone is willing to post it on a
public site,
I'll cheerfully send it to them and they can broadcast the link. )

As brief as I can type it, I ask:
Who to call for Elec questions? who for mech? high volume? charge num?
related dwg nums? brd thickness? copper thickness? proposed lyr count?
how many protos? recomended floor plan?, high voltage/current? sigs needing
isolation? multiple gnds? net classes/props? unused inputs? reorder refdes?
cost sensitive? panelized? height restrictions? keep-outs, test pts,
conformal?
heat probs? sockets/spares? orient for emulator/test/wave? (the other
things
are specific to our company)

Anyone out there willing to share with me their checklist that they go thru
when a new job comes in from a customer for a pcb to be designed for a
customer.  Such things as no. of layers, current capability, board size,
controlled impedance, etc.
