Dear Mr. Huffman,

My understanding is that the National Institute of Standards and Technology is
the definitive source for unit information.
Their web page
  http://ts.nist.gov/ts/htdocs/200/202/metrsty3.htm#Table%201
confirms that
 1 inch = 25.4 mm (exact)
as others have already noted.

That page also has other useful metric information.

(Any relation to David Huffman, inventor of Huffman compression ?)



I am looking for the true mm to inch conversion.
