The next meeting of the Houston IPC Designer's Council will be sponsored by

Directions: From Houston, take US-59 South towards Victoria. Take the W.
Airport Blvd/Kirkwood Dr. exit. Turn left onto W. Airport Blvd.   Pass the
first light at Wal Mart and turn left on Charles E. Selectman Dr. (if you
get to Murphy Rd., you've gone too far.) Go to the manufacturing building,
which is the third building off Airport.

The topic of this meeting will be:
"Intelligent Assembly Machines: the data they need from Designeers and how
they use it." Presented by Charlie Barker. He will throw in a little Design
for Manufacturing, as well.

Social hour (and dinner) starts at 6:30 and the meeting will begin at 7:30.
Dinner is to be pot roast, salad, vegetables, bread, and cake for a charge
of $5.00.

Also on a local level, we are planning a FREE 1-day seminar titled "Circuit
Theory for PCB Designers" to be led by Randy Collins on July 23,1999 at
Chem-lab facilities in Southwest Houston. Contact Paul Danna at (281)

And, we are planning a 1-day paid seminar titled "Printed Circuit
Manufacturing, What everyone needs to know" to be taught by Mary Sugden in
September in Houston. More details will follow.
