If you decide to use the Rogers substrate, please be advised that the
RO4003 is not fire retardant and cannot be UL approved. This limitation
may impact the UL approval of your product. Rogers does produce a
substrate that is UL approved with a slightly higher dielectric constant
of 3.48 as compared with the 3.38 of RO4003. This will result in a
slightly lower impedance, so be sure to recalculate your trace width and
dielectric spacing if you use the RO4350. If you need assistance with
the calculation of impedance for Rogers materials, visit their Web site
at:
http://www.rogers-corp.com/mwu/mwiform.htm
I highly recommend the Rogers line of substrates.
