Subject: [DC] Plating thickness

I find that my set of IPC-2220 has become outdated (specifically 2221). So
that I don't have to wait until I can requisition and receive my new set,
may I impose on someone who already has the new version?

Referencing the Feb 1998 version of that document, Table 4-3 Final Finish,
Surface Plating Requirements (page 20):

Electroless Nickel 2.5 - 5.0 micrometers (across all three classes)
Immersion Gold 0.08 - 0.23 micrometers (across all three classes)

Here's the question(s): Have either or both of those thicknesses changed in
the newer version (IPC-2221A)? If so, what are the new values?

Thanks very much (in advance)!

Donn
