Dave,

As far as I know there is no way in doing this in Mentor. However
I would do the following.

Set the placement and board outline for you'r -001 board visible.
Use a screen grabber like XV (on UNIX) to grab the screen, and save
it as a .bmp file.

This bmp file can be used as input for the bmp2ascii program, wich
will create an ascii geom from the bmp file.
Now you can add this geometry to the -002 design. Make sure you scale
the .bmp file to the correct size.

In this way, we were able to add the company logo the one of our boards.
just for fun by the way.

If you feel that this might help, let me know. I will send you the C-code
for the bmp2ascii program.
