I may just do that. Lets see how the bench mark goes first.
I am looking for tools comparable to Valor, CAM350.

I would love to see the results of your benchmark.
Would you consider publishing it? I bet PC Design
Magazine would, or Route.
I use the free ViewMate tool, because I don't
edit gerbers, I just look at 'em.
Curious about capabilities vs limitations vs price
at the next level, though. Even a brief synopsis of
what the journey was like would be interesting.

Not sure what other tools are out there. Can anyone help, maybe

sequential builds (Micro via, blind via, buried via) Lots of

planes. Our host design tool is Cadence Allegro. We are
currently using
15.5 and migrating to 15.7.
