I have always used 1" = 2.54 cm.  This would make 1mm approx. = .039370078
inch, which means Webster's it technically correct, their calculator just
rounds off at 4 digits.

I am looking for the true mm to inch conversion. Webster defines a mm as
being .0394 inches but the conversions I see on drawings do not agree with
this. Where can I find the definitive conversion formula? Any ideas?
