Check with your PCB Assembly folks as there are definetely tradeoffs between
Matte And Gloss finish. I've usually gone as far as to specify a particular
product (eg. "Taiyo PSR4000") per my assembler's preference. 

If you do specify a particular product it's quite likely you'll get
consistant color.
