Hi Bob

Thanks for the information about the spacing, and yes the connector that is
going to be used as other pins around the tip&ring. We were actualy talking
about uninstalling those pins and removing the pad in order to get more
clearance, its nice to see that other companies came up with the same
results.

Thanks again,

Stephan Renaud

Stephan,
One more thought, be carefull in connector picking,
pending what type of connector tip&rng may be going out on,
you may have to have uninstalled pins, and no pads on those pins
if other siganls are part of this connector, Also pending
connector you may be able to get away with pins installed
but a no pad non-plated hole. All conductive material nees the 2.5mm
space.

We need to get the UL-1950 spec. certification for one of our products.
We are in the process of purchassing the specs but it would be greatly
apreciated if meanwhile anyone of you could give us some information on what
design rules to follow on the pcb (spacing needed for ring voltage, ring
start, -48v, etc.).
Again, we appreciatte all the help. Thanks.
