PRESENTATION FOR THE EVENING

Designing with Teflon
speaker, Dave Chapman, Protocircuits

Why Teflon: good dielectric constant control, 2.17 >10.8
                       low loss tangent,
                       high signal speed.

Tips on designing with Teflon:
                       Don't use solder mask
If you do, use only where needed. Also, remember, solder mask sticks
better to Copper than to the Teflon.
Add non-platted holes where ever possible to allow for moisture escape.
Long baking cycles required to remove moisture.

MEETING CLOSED.
