                            Design For Assembly

        The Greater Boston Chapter of the IPC Designer's Council will
        hold its next meeting on Wednesday, November 18th at 7pm.

        Harry Parkinson of Compaq will present "Design for Assembly".

        His presentation will include overviews on the different
        assembly methodologies in use today, and some specifics on
        how to prepare for them.

        Harry recently presented this talk at the recent IPC/SMTA
        show in Providence.

        Agenda:

        6:00 pm,    Arrivals and Pizza (optional, $5 contribution)

        7:00        Harry Parkinson - Design For Assembly

        Directions:

        Lockheed Martin in Lexington MA.  This facility is located off
        route 128 at the route 2A, exit 30B.  Proceed West 200yds
        from route 128, turn Left onto Forbes Road.  The meeting
        is in the first building on the left (after the guard shack).

        Mission and Shameless Call for Participation:

        We hope to continue to bring you, the designer, genuine content
        and enrichment in the coming year.  But we need your help!
        The Steering Committee currently needs more hands, please get
        involved!  Steering Committee meetings are held on the 2nd
        Tuesday of each month, at the Victoria's Station Restaurant
        Burlington (across from the Burlington Mall on Middlesex
        Turnpike), at 6pm.  Hope to see you there!

        Also thanks to those who participated in the "vote" for topics,
        it was a pleasure to hear from you all.  If this was not your
        choice, we'll have Harry back for another round later in the
        year - but I'm sure you'll learn something from this one!
