Didn't mean to 'Tick u off', George.... :)

By way of explanation,
I advertise the meeting on the national board just like everyone else
does....so others in the DC know what's going on in San Diego.... You
certainly can contact Tony Shoot yourself and see if he wants to come to
your area and do a presentation there... :)

In Fact, I think he would LOVE to do that.... So don't be upset with the
messenger...ok? Contact Tyco and get your chapter a date with them... they
have a number of educational activities going that your chapter can arrange
to take advantage of...

Oh and I am not keeping the data from anyone that requests it... I even sent
you a copy.... but Tony did not give me permission to post his material on
the web or send it out like spam to the whole world.... he just said to
forward it to those who requested it.... That's what I have done, in good
faith to Tony.

Cheers!

<OPINION>
That's really great for people who don't live in San Diego. Why advertise
your meeting on the national list and then refuse to offer a resource to
other areas when they ask. If you don't want other designers to ask for the
information, don't advertise it on the national list.

I thought one of the primary "missions" of the Designer's Council was to
encourage information exchange between designers. Not just San Diego
designers, not Just Designer Council designers, ALL designers.

Tony didn't offer it for publication on my website, but he did tell me to
forward it to who ever wanted a copy... Frankly, I am getting inundated with
requests... All I can do is answer them one at a time... sorry. The file he
gave me is incomplete but has about 31 frames of his presentation... if you
want the whole story, you will have to come to San Diego to the meeting and
get it in person... :)

Bill:

Emailing it to everyone seems a major waste of bandwidth.

Why doesn't Tony place the presentation on Tyco PCB's web site.

If he can't do that, you could put it on your website (personal or IPCDC)
with credit to him.

If you don't want to do that, I could put it on my site, again with credit
to him

As you may have noticed... the forum strips attachments off the e-mail
before re-broadcasting to the world... So I have been sending the
presentation to the requesters directly... :-)

Here is an excellent publication about BGA Routing. It may help
someone...it helped me. But I would also like to hear Tony's Routing
Strategies, could you post to the forum?
Thank You,
Kitty

Diego Chapter

Hi, there :

How I wish I am living in the same part of the world as you guys. You
have all the
opportunities to learn out there. Being in the other part of the world,
it is not possible for
me to attend this wonderful forum.

If possible, I would appreciate Tony to share the notes on "BGA Routing
Strategies" with me.

Best regards
