Long Island Chapter of the IPC Designer Council

Meeting Announcement

Coming Up... "Printed Circuit Fabrication, the next level"

Last November, Tom Buck made a presentation at our meeting called
PCB101. This upcoming meeting will take us a level above the basics.
With today's technology primarily involving surface mounted components,
Tom will discuss how smaller and smaller array packages are testing the
limits of conventional manufacturing. As an example ball grid arrays
with a 0.8mm pitch are becoming common and will ultimately migrate down
to a 0.4mm pitch. These implications are significant to both the
Designer and the manufacturer. This presentation will explore the many
challenges we are faced with, from both a design and manufacturing
viewpoint.

Thursday March 1st 2007, 6pm

With Tom Buck from Dynamic Details Inc. (DDI)

A "Certificate of Participation" will be given to everyone attending.

To be held at: "L-3 Narda Satellite Networks"
