It seems to me that the only participants of the shoot-out are the
big ones who have lots of money for advertising.  Because this is
really advertising, not proving the functionality.  If that were the case,
each supplier would have his system setting there for any user to
design a defined board on.  This would be something fairly simple.
Then every user would get the feel of the systems rather than a
captive expert laying out the design he has been practicing with
for the last few days.

Where are the other guys?  THEDA (is anyone aware of this
great system), Eagle, Zuken, where are you?

I would also like to see an agenda where at different times of the
session, a task is defined.  Users could visit each of the venders
over a period of say an hour, to see how each system did the
task (with their expert).

My opinions are my own!
