Subject: Re: [DC] Online Land Pattern Calculator

I'm interested in helping the cause as well -although like everyone else,
available time is limited. Most of my programming experience is in Visual
Basic for CAD applications but have HTML and web page design experience as
well as a need to do more Javascripting.
I don't think the actual coding should be that difficult since most of the
formulas and landpattern details are already known. Getting the thing to
run without error may be the tricky part. I would suggest though that some
measure of data entry checking be added. If I recall correctly, the old
online forms allowed you to enter values outside of the norm and generate a
bad part without any feedback.
Another problem might be finding a server to host the thing. Not sure how
many hits the original service had but if alot of people start accessing it
it could overload someone's limited server.
Put me on your list George.
...may the revolt begin... :)
