I have been so busy this year... wish I could have gone to PCB West... That's actually where I first met and got involved in the Designers council..
They have a great program and good speakers and it's focused on PCB design which is hard to find these days...
This year I have restarted teaching PCB design at Palomar College using my curriculum and Altium Designer...
Leslie Gomez is dropping in to assist in the class room for which I thank her... :)
I changed jobs last year and have been here at Nordson Asymtek since then working 50 hour weeks on projects for them... I became the President of the local Altium Users Group here... and I have been taking sculpting lessons now for 2 and a half years... I'm getting pretty good at that too... I'm planning to get back to my website, http://www.pcbwizards.com/ and update it, I just have been too busy to get to it...
I have been spending time making library parts for Altium too... adding the 3d models to them makes them particularly useful and helps with the design visualization of the assembly... I put some of the models online to share at http://www.3dcontentcentral.com/

I'm a grandpa for the 3rd time as of New Years this year... sweet little Aurora Brooks my first granddaughter is so beautiful... :)
Lots to be thankful for, I have a very full life... maybe next year I can make it to PCB West again... I really enjoyed the times I attended before...
I actually competed in the Top Gun PCB competition once... but I didn't win the leather flight jacket... It was quite an experience... :)
