They started (I think) as a reseller of the Bartels Autorouter sold as 
Superoute in the US and they provided interfaces to it for CAD programs 
like EEDesigner. There was a bit of a dust-up over Bartels not getting 
paid. Don't know how that ended up.  RSI then developed CAD translators. 
I believe that is what Mentor bought them for.
