Mitch,
this is how we specify our copper:

------------------------------------------------------
Laminate shall be in accordance with MIL-S-13949/H.
Copper weight is 1 oz./sq. ft. internal and 1/2 oz./sq. ft.
external. Final composite thickness will be .062" +/- .004".
Typical material specification, as per ANSI/IPC-D-275,
is Type GFN-0620-CH/CH-B1B where:

GFN	= FR4 glass fabric impregnated with flame retardant epoxy resin
0620	= nominal dielectric base thickness (ten-thousandths of an inch)
CH	= top side, metallic foil type and nominal weight (ounce/sq. ft.)
CH	= bottom side, metallic foil type and nominal weight (ounce/sq.ft.)
B	= laminate quality (pits and dents per sq. in.)
1	= thickness tolerance
B	= laminate material bow and twist
------------------------------------------------------

I hope this helps.
Ciao!
