The "other people" are the other Design Engineers, we don't really have any Manufacturing Engineers.

Are the other folks in your company Manufacturing Engineers or Design Engineers?
If design engineers, check with the MfgE and see what they say. A lot of the MfgE here tend to want the most robust where possible, hitting the limits only where necessary. Sure makes it harder and more time consuming to design, though.

Hi,
What is the general consensus on mixing least, nominal, and most footprints on a single PCB? I am of the mindset that you should chose one and go with it. Others at my company think that we should only use least where necessary and if space allows use the larger footprints.
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Adam
