Hello Designer Council Members,
The reason that I asked about ANSI Y32.2-1975 was because I was looking for
the correct Graphic Symbol for a SURFACE MOUNT FERRITE BEAD. Such as found
at http://www.murata.com/ninfo/nr0341e.html
In ANSI Y32.2-1975, there is a symbol for a FERRITE BEAD RING (15.18.1
general and 15.18.2 application with equivalent LC circuit.
Would these be correct for the above ferrite bead or is there another
symbol used?
When I first got into electronics, we called one Hertz one CPS. So I was
thinking (I know, I shouldn't do that) that maybe there is a new symbol for
this ferrite bead. After all, the first ferrite bead I came across was
about three-quarters of an inch in diameter with a 18AWG wire running
through it.
Thanks
Donald Kyle C.I.D.+
