Sorry to bother you, but we just bought a SolidWorks package. I do the pcb
layouts here and someone else does the SW stuff. The other person wants to
create assy drawings from my pcb layout. We bought a translator package
from CamCadd that is suppose to do this.  It works to some degree, but
still needs a few problems worked out.  I'm guessing config files need to
be modified.  Have you had any experience with the CamCadd translator?

Does anyone out there know how to convert a tif file (or a dxf file) to a
bitmap image? I have a tif file from SolidWorks
that I want to import into Viewlogic (it's a title block with our logo).
The support guys at Viewlogic say nope, can't be
done, but I'm not buying it. With all the technology available I should be
able to do this without buying some expensive
conversion tool. Has anyone else run into this problem? Any solutions?
