Oh I cannot agree enough with this.

Using PDF appears to be "the" portable file format to use.
Anyone can create PDF files now as there are several freeware PDF creators
out on the net.
Even if I dont get have access to this document I recommend this route :)

I now store almost all my companies schematics in PDF format so that
engineers on site can download & view them
instead of having to return & get a printed copy.

I agree with you both. The PDF format is much more useful and can be stored
on the hard drive or a CD and carried with you when you travel. All our
publications should be available in this electronic format.
Here at Titan we have started migrating our documents to PDF as it makes it
possible for anyone to have access with a browser offline or online and the
file size is much smaller so they can be e-mailed as attachments.

JaMi,

I'll backup your sentiments. As Nick said to me in an email he and
Stephannie have been backed up with work and this was one thing they did to
reduce their workload. As I expressed to Nick I prefer to take the PDF
copy with me when I travel and read it when I'm not connected to the
internet so the HTML version is of no use to me. Let's make both October
and November issues be available to use in PDF and resume all future issues
in this valuable portable file format.

Regards,
Jim Yohe
