Fred,
I beleive that there is nothing wrong with having employment
ads on this forum. It only takes a few seconds for someone to
read an ad and discard it anyway. People may not only be looking
for jobs but may have friends who either lost their jobs or are looking
for jobs and this may be a lead. I know I had a friend in Wisconsin who
was laid off and I was letting him know of every job posting. Anyway,
this is also a good way for an employer to avoid paying a $5-6K commision
to a headhunter.

Have a good day
Mike

Karl,
My concern is not that my designers would jump ship, besides having them
all
chained in, everyone here shares in the profits and seems to be happy.
Acutally I have no problem with anyone bettering themselves either. Rather
my concern is that the Designers Council not cause any employers any
problems with them losing designers. We have worked hard for the OEM's
support of our cause, but would rather not push our luck with designers
looking for work on company time.
