Hi,

This question really isn't for this forumn, so if you have an answer
please respond directly. Also, the audience of this question is for the
garage/basement type of design, excluding large companies.

I'm sure some of you at least have developed your own product for sale
directly or as an OEM type of instrument. I am doing that right now with
a friend of mine. It is customized electronics in small quanities with
some potential for larger qtys like 20-25 at a time. I am gathering
data/costs to build the electronics for every step of the way so I know
what it costs to fab and assemble the pcb for example.

If you've done this yourself, and you know the bottom line, what kind of
markup/margain have you sold it at?

Please specify percentage relative to your costs. If you break it down,
please let me know where and how you broke it down. Also, keep in mind I
will probably only sell 1 or 2 at a time, then have to build more.

Thanks in advance and I appreciate any response,

Scott
