Hello ...

Our next General Membership Meeting will be on March 17th at 6pm to 8pm and
hosted by Tektronix, Inc., Building 39 (southwest corner entrance), in
Beaverton, OR. The nearest cross streets to this large campus are Murray
Blvd. and Jenkins Rd..

For directions call: (503) 627-3939

Or go here for a map: www.tek.com/about/bv_map.html

Our meeting topic will be an "Overview of Fabrication and PCB Materials
Standards". Specifically we will try to cover the Fabrication (601x series)
and Materials (4101) standards and contrast the new information with the old
so you know how to make the best use of them.

The assumptions many people make when utilizing standards incorrectly has
resulted in errors in finished boards or the construction or performance not
meeting what you always thought it should.

Please come with your questions and examples of how you've implemented IPC
into your Fab drawings. We won't put you on the spot but would appreciate
hearing how different companies utilize drawing and material standards.

(Please RSVP for security purposes to my email address [log in to unmask] by
March 15th.)

Learn more about the IPC and walk away with information to review and share.
For your benefit and that of your company please make the Pacific Northwest
Chapter of the IPC Designers Council your voice to world!
