A Statement of Work can be used as an addendum to a RFQ or P.O. I have used
one in conjunction with PWB Design Services sub-contracts at a previous
employer. It's a vehicle to clearly state required inputs, deliverables and
responsibilities, so that nothing is assumed, and both sides have a clear
understanding of the subcontracts bounds.

Subject: [DC] Statement of Work
Hi All,
Does anyone on the list use a "Statement of Work" or some other similar
document for use with vendors to help define a job? It's used in
conjunction
with the PWB Fab drawings and BOM's to further refine customer expectations
of the finished PWA. I haven't heard of one before, did not see anything in
my
design guide and was wondering if IPC has something to say about this.
TIA,
