Excellent Idea! I am a member of the Silicon Valley chapter and our
meetings are gracoiusly hosted by Mentor and Cadence, alternatively.
It's a great arrangement!

Bill,

The DC Orange County chapter is graciously being hosted by Mentor
Graphics in their facility in Irvine.

Maybe it is time to do a little "prodding" and stir up some friendly
competition of sorts (more commonly called "pot stirring") and push a
few buttons at Altium there in "South Escondido" (Rancho Bernardo) and
see if they would be willing to host the meetings for a while.

I know that it is "North County" as far as San Diego proper is
concerned, and that as such it may not be the most convienent place for
all concerned, but it is worth a try.

On yet another note, maybe you can get them as a presentor for one of
our future meetings, where they can show off all of their newly
integrated FPGA oriented stuff and tell us all how it integrates into
PCB Design.

JaMi
