       2004 CID & CID+ Design Certification Workshops & Exams

The Pacific Northwest Chapter of the IPC Designers Council is happy to
announce we are hosting CID & CID+ Design Certification Workshops & Exams
during the week of June 7-11, 2004 in Hillsboro, Oregon. We would like to
invite you to sign up for this most important event.

As technology is continually changing and competition for high tech-oriented
positions become greater, the workshop provides a great opportunity to
strengthen your PCB design skills and provide you with an edge against the
competition. Many companies are even starting to require this certification
as a prerequisite to employment.

The cost for each Workshop will be:

*    PCB Designer Workshop & Exam (C.I.D)
     June 7-8-9 in Hillsboro, OR
     IPC/DC Member: $595*
     Non-member: $795*
     Exam Only: $205*

*    Advanced PCB Designer Workshop & Exam (C.I.D+)
     June 9-10-11 in Hillsboro, OR
     IPC/DC Member: $595*
     Non-member: $795*
     Exam Only: $205*

*    Actual location will be announced soon, both on the national
        IPC/DC web page (http://dc.ipc.org) and on the PNW web site
     (http://dcchapters.ipc.org/pnw)

*    Individual Pricing detailed on IPC website.

*    You can also utilize your $50 voucher you received from
     your IPC Designer Council membership.

*    If you plan on attending please sign up by May 15, in
     order to get materials on time.

The two-day workshop portion of the course will begin at 8:30 am and
conclude at 5:00 pm each day, with pre-registration starting at 8:00 am on
the first day. The exam will be administered in the morning on the final
day, with a review of the test following lunch and concluding by 3:00 pm.

If you would like to register, please contact IPC at http://dc.ipc.org [see
the bottom paragraph of the IPC web page]. Please download the registration
form, complete the registration form, and fax or mail with payment to the
location specified on the registration form. Remember to specify the
workshop & exam in Hillsboro, OR.
