Mike,
I lost the original email from you, so if you are using a UNIX platform
continue on, if not this would be of NO use to you.
If your software does not have the capability to write BOM data into other
systems, you (or your IS person) can write "awk" scripts to transfer data
and manipulate database type fields. You can selectively choose which
fields you need to transfer and in what sequence. This is a simple
programming language to learn -the hard part is learning unix : )
Consult with your IS group for possible solutions.
