I don't pay much attention to where the IPC council meetings are
held, or much anything else in that matter.
Everything IPC, I feel that what I have to say, (along with most
people that use IPC) is a bit moot.
I watch this server for lively discussion on standards and such,
but am still disgusted by the unclear verbiage of IPC specs.
I'm ready to attack this topic.

First, I would like to ask, where is there a council meeting
in the southeastern region?...and when?

Second, I would like to ask others;
Do you feel that IPC does nothing to address fabrication
questions in relation to what we should specify?

Are there books diluted, as so there will be more of them....
to sell?

Are the books infamously unclear?

Don't give us a table in a book, so we may copy and draw little
lines to figure values. Neither does an online calculator help
those with limited inet access or none at all.
(Give me your formulas and I'll make a stand alone calculator for
all of the tables if I need to)

Address fabrication with better clarity and address the different
levels of fabrication.

It seems that the current specs are no more than a dressed up
275 spec. I'm sure that allot is being done, but designers
as a whole laugh about IPC specs for these reasons.

I don't mean for this to sound like a rant, but most that I speak
with cite these reasons for their discontent and non-conformity.
It has to be said......
